The outbreak of COVID-91 pandemic disrupted planned in-person meetings of the 2001/2 Alumni group in 2020. In December, 2019 members of the 2001/2-year group held an Annual General Meeting under the theme, CASFORD SOLIDARITY; Mobilizing for Networking Opportunities. The meeting brought together representatives of various year groups and regional representatives from Ashanti, Western, Northern regions as well as Hall Executives and students of the great Hall for a memorable get-together.

The President of the 2001/2-year group in a brief remark outlined the 3-point strategic plan of the alumni association as follows:

1. Build an active and vibrant alumni community

2. Facilitate engagement between alumni community, the Hall and the University

3. Promote economic, welfare and career aspirations of members

He also acknowledged numerous calls to lead a process towards forming a national alumni body of our great hall. This online platform is one of the tools that has been deployed following the 2019 AGM to generate a database of all past residents of the Hall.
